Danny Roxo posted in the group Portuguese Colonial Wars in Africa
Roxo was driving a very old-fashioned Ford Consul , a gift from the Civil Governor . He also lived in a state house.
He was a sui generis driver. Normally at 25 km/h and in 3rd gear… passing over all obstacles, regardless of any road conditions.

About Me

Francisco Daniel Roxo
Francisco Daniel "Danny" Roxo (1933–1976) was a Portuguese hunter, safari guide, and soldier. Born in Mogadouro, he emigrated to Niassa Province, Portuguese Mozambique during the 1950s, where he established himself as a professional hunter. Roxo later fought in the Mozambican War of Independence against nationalist guerrillas.[2] After Mozambican independence he served as a foreign volunteer in 32 Battalion, a Portuguese-speaking unit of the South African Army.
